Great home for brief or extended stay. Close to nightlife, city center, airport, and parks. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. Walking distance to Overton Square, Memphis Zoo and Brooks Museum, and Ballet Memphis. You’ll love my place because of the ease of the Memphis neighborhood, straight shot to Graceland, Cooper-Young, downtown, the comfy beds, and the kitchen.

Walking distance to Overton Square, Memphis Zoo and Brooks Museum, and Ballet Memphis. You’ll love my place because of the ease of the Memphis neighborhood, straight shot to Graceland, Cooper-Young, downtown. Historic neighborhoods all around you can walk to Sun Studios, but historic Ardent Recording Studios is right on the corner.
Besides the local the house itself has two comfy beds, a fold out couch, full kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room and a front room for you to enjoy. Get out on the town easily or stay in and watch Netflix, or surf the web using our wifi. There is also a washer and drier for you to use during the stay. Eco friendly central heat and air conditioning for your comfort.
In the morning we will have some coffee, tea, juice, fruit and other breakfast items for you to start your day. If there are other breakfast items you prefer please just let us know. We aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

You will have full run of the main house with the exception of the attic.

Tucker Jefferson Neighborhood is in the heart of Midtown Memphis. It is nestled between Overton Park and Overton Square, two of Midtown’s greatest assets. It is known as a neighborhood of artist and other professionals.
According to Wikipedia Midtown is, “home to many cultural attractions, institutions of higher education, and noteworthy pieces of architecture. The district is an anchor in Memphis’ arts scene, including the Playhouse on the Square, the Hattiloo Theater, the Brooks Museum of Art, the Memphis College of Art, and the Levitt Shell. The annual Cooper-Young Arts Festival draws over 120 thousand visitors to the district. Midtown also plays host to multiple universities and colleges, including Memphis College of Art, Rhodes College, and Christian Brothers University.
Midtown is characterized by vintage residential housing, a blend of independent and chain retailers, and high-rise buildings. Multiple historic districts are located in Midtown, and commercial corridors such as Overton Square and Cooper Street developed before World War II in an urban style. Mixed use areas with housing, religious, commercial and office spaces are common in Midtown.”

Driving: If you are driving street parking is available.
Public Transit: Nearby bus stops are several. And a bit of the walk will take you to the historic trollies.
On Foot: There are a selection of restaurants and a movie theater in Overton Square that are a brief walk. Beyond that is two theater playhouses and the Fresh Market Grocery Store.
